The Office of Academic Affairs

The Office of Academic Affairs consists of two sections and two center, including Registration Section, Curriculum Section, Recruitment Section, Teaching and Learning Center; meanwhile, two professors double as the dean and vice dean of academic affairs. The center and each section have their own directors and deal with the related affairs according to their duties.


The Registration Section

The Registration Section is in charge of student enrollment, grade registration, affairs about graduate students degree tests, declaration of multiple majors and minors, any entrance exam, and various academic paper applications (e.g., academic transcripts, diplomas, re-issue of Student ID Cards etc.)


The Curriculum Section

The Curriculum Section is in charge of establishing and classifying course archives of each department. We also plan and execute class selection including preliminary registration, adding-or-dropping a course and enrolling for summer course. Other major work scope we are involved are classroom arrangement, faculty curriculum management and implementation of final exams and gathering statistic results of student evaluation of teaching and instructors’ overtime hour of teaching.


Center for Teaching and Learning

Center for Teaching and Learning is responsible for the evaluation of academic departments, teaching & learning research and training, excellent teaching award, teaching and learning counsel, serving learning, training for teaching assistants, diagnosis and test for fundamental subjects, and other related affairs about teaching & learning resources in Taiwan.


The Recruitment Section

The Recruitment Section is in charge of University education fairs, recruitment speeches arrangement in senior high schools, college-life experiencing summer camps, guest receptions and campus tour guide, propagation task force training, freshmens campus life workshop, admission posters and ads designing, and campus activities propaganda planning.
